Bethesda finally showed the first trailer for Starfield, the first new universe created by Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years, at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. With the trailer, he found the answer to one more question because Starfield would only be available exclusively on Xbox and PC.
Pete Hines, Bethesda’s vice president of marketing and communications, also addressed the issue in an interview with GameSpot.
“If you’re unhappy or angry or whatever, I totally understand that. These are real feelings and sadness. How should you deal with this? Believe me, I have no idea. I’d be lying if I said, “Here’s the way to make it better and feel better.”
I don’t know how to alleviate the fears and annupers of PlayStation 5 fans, all we can say is that I am also a PlayStation 5 player, I have played games on that console and there are games that I will continue to play. But if you want to play Starfield, that game will only be on PC and Xbox. I am sad. All I can say is, I’m really sorry.”
Starfield will be released for PC and Xbox Series on November 11, 2022, exactly 11 years after Skyrim; and will be available on Game Pass from day one.
