As we all know, it’s Father’s Day. We celebrate Father’s Day with our best wishes for fathers who are a mainstay for their children, a haven to shelter, sometimes a teacher, sometimes a role model.
We said, “Let’s not settle for a dry celebration; That’s why Engin and I went head-to-head and listed the characters that the father figure best suits in the games, who deserve to be a father. We’ve limited the list to 10 names, but there are undoubtedly ‘dad’ characters that can be mentioned beyond what we mentioned here. You can share them in the comments section now, won’t you:)
Let’s see if we can add new dads to this list next year, deep enough to be in our memories.
Kratos (Work)
A few years ago, you’d make fun of kratos on a list like this, but how did that change? With God of War, Kratos suddenly said, “Dad; He was the first name that came to mind, so he became the father of the fathers. We got to know him in a way we never knew, and however we questioned the father-son relationship between him and Atreus at first, we witnessed how strong the bond between them was over time. Kratos is a man who was thrown into danger without blinking to protect his son, showing his love in this way.
Geralt (Work)
Like any Witcher, Geralt is infertile, so there’s no way he’s biologically a father. But that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a very good father figure. When we look at his relationship with Ciri, whom he loves, protects and looks after as if he were his child, for which he would do anything for it, it is impossible not to see it. We even saw Ciri put aside that tough guy image when he was around, even playing snowballs. Being a father is sometimes being a child with a child.
Joel (Vast)
Even with the burden of being a single parent on his shoulders, things were hard, and when he lost his daughter, that burden was relied on for Joel. Years after her loss, Ellie unexpectedly confronted him, re-triggering the sense of fatherhood within him, and Sarah would protect this little girl in every record and condition, against anyone and everything that could harm her. Throughout her adventures, as she joined the fight to protect Ellie, we saw that she could take on the world to keep her safe. What father wouldn’t do that anyway…
Big Daddy (Work)
Don’t say that dad, even his name is Big Daddy. He may not really be a father, but when you look at his connection to the Little Sisters in Rapture, you have to be blind not to see that he’s as strong as a real father-daughter relationship. The Big Daddys are designed to protect Little Sisters with their lives and guns, and sometimes they can be overprotective, just like a real father. Like any father who thinks his daughter’s in danger.
Ethan Mars (Engin)
When Ethan was living happily with his wife and two sons, and lost their eldest son Jason in an unfortunate accident, that exemplary family picture was destroyed. It was another story in which we saw how devastating the loss of a father’s child could have. He was losing his wife, his job, and that strong bond with his young son. His life was a mess. And then there was serial killer Origami Killer, who kidnapped his son Shaun, and it wasn’t even a matter of going crazy for Ethan. He couldn’t bear to suffer this loss again. He couldn’t let his son die this time. We deeply saddened him with his pain and concerns at every moment of his sad story.
Harry Mason (Work)
Cheryl is not Harry’s own daughter. But when Cheryl was abducted in the town of Silent Hill, where they were on holiday together, Harry wasn’t afraid to go to hell to get her back. And he’s not a superhero, he’s a normal person. Not a gunsmith, not a martial artist, not a wizard. He’s a normal person. He’s a normal dad. A father who won’t hesitate to confront demons and nightmares for his daughter.
Lee Everett (Vast)
As if it wasn’t scary enough that a car accident on the way to prison led to him being caught in the middle of a zombie invasion, coming across a little girl alone in the middle of this invasion would lead Lee on a journey he never planned. Throughout the journey, Lee not only protected and protected Clementine, but taught her everything she needed to survive in this wilderness. While accompanying her journey as her guardian angel, she became the father figure Clementine needed and loved so much that she would accompany this little girl throughout her five-season journey.
Eli Vance (Work)
Eli’s love for Alyx was clearly seen in the dialogue between them. Eli, who repeatedly called his daughter honey and my brother, was protective of his daughter, but he also indicated that he trusted her at every turn. Eli, who didn’t mind living his own life, joining the Resistance, built a robot watchdog for Alyx, remember? Eli’s love for his daughter was so strong that he didn’t hesitate to sacrifice himself for her, and his last words were, “I love you; Was.
Corvo Attano (Engin)
Empress Emily’s mentor, protector, the only relative in the world, her father Corvo Attano. This young queen has eyes on her throne and has faced all sorts of conspiracies; In a sense, he’s living his mother’s fate. But there is one thing that those who intend to remove him from his rightful throne, or even throw him in dungeons, do not take into account: Corvo narrows the world to those who will damage the hair of his daughter’s hair…
Kazuma Kiryu (Engin)
While our charismatic hero Kazuma Kiryu leaves the orphanage and pursues a solid career in the Yakuza, an intruder enters his life in the middle of all the fights, when he least expects it: Haruka. This little girl tries to find her mother and asks Kiryu for help. This is exactly the beginning of the father-daughter relationship that will continue throughout the 6-game series. That little girl grows up, becomes a pop star, even has a child. But for Kiryu, she will always be her little girl Haruka. Naturally, it’s your neck’s debt to take care of him for a lifetime.
