Battlefield continues to partner with Nvidia. In a joint statement, EA and Nvidia announced that Geforce is the official GPU partner for DICE’s new game Battlefield 2042. This means that the game will support and benefit from nvidia’s features.
Of course, DLSS is one of these features. Battlefield 2042 will support DLSS;
The game will also support Reflex; nvidia’s low-latency mode. We’re starting to see Reflex in more and more competitive games, and Call of Duty: Warzone was one of them.
The press release did not mention ray tracing. Considering that Battlefield V; is rtx supported, or even one of the games that Nvidia uses on RTX posters, could they have given up on this feature in Battlefield 2042? After all, there is no one-man script in the game, and ray tracing is not a very important feature in multiplayer games. But perhaps at a later date, this will be announced alongside the ray tracing trailer.
