Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive was released last month and has done a pretty good job for itself, with 300,000 units in physical and digital sales worldwide. The developer is busy with cross-game support as well as the release of the first DLC character later this month.
In a new interview with Comunidad Arc System Works on Tumblr, the developer also shared some details about the current state of the cross-game: “Of course we always try to achieve this and we go through verification processes for it. However, there are still many practical problems, such as scheduling and operating costs of matching servers. It will take us a little longer to make a concrete statement.”
Cross-platform gaming was only approved among PlayStation players, and players on PC were excluded. Guilty Gear Strive is currently available for PS4, PS5 and PC.
