There are some maps in rainbow six siege history that have written their name in gold letters. But some “experimental” maps, unfortunately, face hate rather than love. Here’s the Favela, one of the game’s most “hated” maps for a long time, preparing to make a terrific return to the stage.
Siege;’s new update, the Favela, was revamped with North Star, which was actually one of the maps that best reflected the game’s fragmentation mechanics. Almost every floor of the map has walls, panels and similar structures that can be torn apart. But the favela’s main problem, the disintegrating outer walls, has been eliminated with this patch. Ubisoft even shared that it believes the Favela will be one of the most iconic maps in the competitive world following its changes.
This map, which is very difficult to defend, will provide the defense team with comfortable breathing space with new updates. In addition, the map can now only be played in the night version. Ubi had previously removed this mode with the “balancing” update. But I think with the confidence of the new map, the Favela is now saying goodbye to its mornings.
You can play the new Favela on the test server. The map will be added to the game along with the update.
