After years of using its own game engine, 11-bit studios announced that they will switch entirely to the Unreal Engine engine for their upcoming projects. Under the licensing agreement with Epic Games, the next 10 projects under development by 11-bit studios or external studios under the umbrella of 11-bit studios will use Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5.
The studio’s agreement with Epic gives you the freedom to choose which Unreal license is best suited for which project.
Przemyslaw Marszal, CEO of 11-bit studios, says that “imagination knows no bounds, and what we can do now thanks to Unreal Engine will not be limited.” “5th generation technology is really impressive, we are very excited to be able to use the potential of this technology in our new games.”
We will receive detailed information about the projects under the umbrella of 11-bit studios in 2022. But they also posted a short tasting video of Project 8, which has not yet been officially announced.
