Broadcaster 2K has announced that it will shut down the servers of the combat sports game WWE 2K19 and WWE 2K20. After the servers shut down, online services within the game will also be closed. Players will not be able to play online matches and will not be able to use other online services. Servers will be shut down on June 30.
2K explained the reason for the termination of online services. Accordingly, the team will focus all its focus on WWE 2K22.
WWE 2K19 was a critically acclaimed production, while 2K20 was among the worst games in the series. After 2K20, the team took a year off from the series and eventually released 2K22.
WWE 2K22’s game engine has been redesigned and new features have been introduced.
