2K’s upcoming list of games has been leaked, and it contains some really interesting names and information. I guess the most important of these is the Marvel strategy game from the creators of XCOM.
First shared on Reddit, and later confirmed by VGC sources and Jason Schreier, 2K’s announcements are as follows:
New Firaxis Game: This game, called Marvel XCOM, has already been described by sources as codename CODA, “an XCOM featuring Marvel heroes”. Firaxis developed the game and famous actors performed the character voices.
Wonderlands: Codename Daffodil is a Borderlands side game starring Tiny Tina. Gearbox is known to have registered tiny Tina;s Wonderlands, so that may be the last name of the game. Although it is a side game, it will be in the same style as other Borderlands games and will be announced at E3.
NBA 2K22: This year’s cover is said to feature Dirk Nowitzki, but it’s probably the cover of one of his editions, while the base version cover will feature another star.
Codename Volt: An action game that is still in its early stages of development. Its logo is said to resemble Fallout, and sources say it is “a combination of Cthulhu and Saints Row.” The developer may be Hangar13, but that’s information that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
According to the calendar shared by ESA, Gearbox’s conference will take place on Saturday, June 12, while the Take-Two presentation will take place on Monday, June 14, and we will see all these games with their trailers.
