HBO’s The Last of Us has announced three other newcomers to the cast. One of them is Jeffrey Pierce, who voices Tommy in the play.
Pierce will not be able to play Tommy on the show, as it was previously announced that gabriel luna had been signed for the role. Pierce will instead play a rebel in the quarantine zone. We’ve already learned that Merle Dandridge, who voices Fireflies leader Marlene in the play, will appear in the same role on the show. Thus, the number of people who switched from the cast to the series was two.
The other two players are Murray Bartlett as Frank (The White Lotus) and Con O’Neill as Bill. Both characters appeared as survivors after the pandemic in the original The Last of Us.
The series, which will air on HBO, will also be the first series production of PlayStation Productions.
