Tom Clancy’s XDefiant has begun the closed beta process. IGN also shared a 6-minute gameplay video from this beta process.
The closed beta currently covers only the U.S. and Canada, but is expected to be made for other regions in the coming period. In the beta, 10 maps and 5 game modes can be tested. Players can choose a ‘Defiant’ from 4 different groups.
Tom Clancy’s XDefiant is Ubisoft’s new multiplayer game. As a high-tempo game, where teams of 6 compete, he will try to find a place in this arena. In the game, which will be offered for free, you will be able to customize your characters and equipment.
The characters will have features, bands (Wolves from Ghost Recon, Echelon from Splinter Cell, Cleaners and Outcasts from The Division), abilities and ultra features, among which you will try to create a character that suits your own gameplay.
With XDefiant, Ubisoft is preparing to open a new front in the field of team-based competitive gaming. Not a surprise considering activision’s success with Call of Duty: Warzone, Electronic Arts’ Apex Legends and Epic Games’ Fortnite.
No clear release date has been announced for XDefiant yet, but we know it will come to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. If you wish, you can register and try your luck in the beta processes to be carried out in the coming period.
