PlayStation Plus continues to offer games in subscription services with the transition to a three-tier service. Sony announced that the Yakuza: Like a Dragon game will be added to the PS Plus Essential subscription layer, which we reported on the site, and published a blog post announcing that more Yakuza games will be added to the subscription in the coming hours.

In addition to Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which was added to the PS Plus Essential subscription service in August, PS Plus members will have access to all the games from the Kazuma Kiryu saga in 2022. This announcement means that the full Yakuza range will be available to PS Plus members in 2022, depending on their membership tier. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will have access to Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 next month.

It should be noted that Yakuza Kiwami 1 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are remakes of the first two games, while Yakuza 0 is the prequel of the series. Although the Yakuza series received generally positive points, it should be noted that many people think that Yakuza 0 is the best Yakuza game.

The release dates of the other games have not been finalized. However, they will be added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium service in 2022. The Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 will be added to the PS Plus Premium service. That’s why PS Plus Extra members will need to upgrade.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the seventh main game in the Yakuza series. It is a role-playing game developed and published by Sega. It follows Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking member of a low-level yakuza family, who goes to 18 years in prison for a crime he did not commit and returns to the city.

Yakuza 0 is set in the second half of the 1980s when real estate prices in Japan were quite high.
