Lucky Luke, known in our country as Red Kit, is a true legend of popular culture with both cartoons and comics. Red Kit, previously adapted as a live film, is set to try its luck as a series this time. Federation Entertainment will both produce and develop a new action/comedy series, Variety reported.
French actor Michael Youn, who played Billy the Kidin the 2009 film Lucky Luke, will serve as a producer and director on the project. The Federation, which will partner with French production company Un pour Tous, will be based around Red Kit and will also feature the Musketeers of the Wild West as they sing classic Western films. Created in 1946 by Belgian artist Maurice De Bevere, Lucky Luke also features unique characters such as Daltons, Dill and Rintintin.
Red Kit, which has a large fan base in our country with both comics and cartoons, was one of the works that had the most original Turkish translation among the works that came out until now. This name, given by the master calligrapher Ferdi Treasurer, later became a legend. If this new series is successful, I hope we get the chance to watch it in our exclusive Red Kit jargon. The show’s release date is not yet known.
