Microids has announced that a major update for Remake XIII will be released on September 13. Developed by Tower Five, this update completely overhauls the game. This update will be available free of charge to users who own the game.
According to Microids, Tower Five has overhauled the entire game, from art design to artificial intelligence. The new update, which includes numerous technical improvements, will also include an online multiplayer mode. This mode will support up to 13 players.
Stéphane Longeard, CEO of Microids, said of the new update and gameplay: “We are very sorry that XIII Remake has made a poor debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The remake did not reach the quality standards that players expected. We decided to rent the Tower Five studio to make up for the mistakes and complete the development of the game.
Tower Five is among the teams that have worked with us in the past. Especially Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders game on Nintendo Switch. We wanted to give you a free and major update to bring the game to the desired quality.”
