New rumors are that a new Marvel strategy game will come from the XCOM studio, a subsidiary of 2K. It also shows that a number of new games are being prepared, including a Borderlands byproduct featuring Firaxis and Tiny Tina.
Although the XCOM series has its roots in the 90s, it serialized 2K Firaxis starting with XCOM: Enemy Unknown in 2012.
Jason Schreier, a journalist at Bloomberg and Kotaku, said on Twitter: “This is a rumor and a rumor that has not yet been proven. yes, this 2K leak is real, but I’m not sure it’s all going to be on E3. I still can’t wait for Marvel XCOM.”
According to leaked information for Borderlands, it was claimed to be called Wonderlands. It is claimed that fans’ favorite character Tiny Tina, who first appeared in the second game and has since appeared in all the main episodes, is featured. Schlock is also played by Ariana Greenblatt in jockey Eli Roth’s upcoming Film Borderlands – love and monsters fame.
Borderlands developer Gearbox recently merged with publishing giant Embracer, an independent studio and ever-expanding company. During the deal, Gearbox founder Randy Pitchford said he would continue to run the company and work as a broadcaster on the Borderlands series with 2K.
