When it comes to war games today, maybe Battlefield and Call of Duty come to mind more, but in time, series like Medal of Honor and Brothers in Arms have also managed to build a fan base for themselves. Now we know that one of these old friends is preparing to meet the gamers again.
Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford; AIAS (Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences) confirmed on its Game Maker’s Notebook podcast that its studios are working on a new Brothers in Arms game:
In fact, this interview took place months ago, but it was so late to be the subject of news because it had just been uploaded to YouTube. Either way, we can think of it as news, don’t we:)
Pitchford also stressed that they would not be in a hurry to show the game. Therefore, as in the case of Borderlands 3, this game can be shown in a calendar close to its release.
The Brothers in Arms series has been in deep sleep since 2008, if we ignore some side games (BiA 2 and BiA 3, which launched on mobile platforms in 2010 and 2014). They obviously think it’s time to reinvigorate this series. In fact, it would not be bad, the market also needs such alternatives. Maybe that’ll make you feel the need to try something new in the other series.
