“Navtra”, a reliable source that shares PlayStation and Square Enix information, comes up with new claims. It is said that Square Enix is working on a new Final Fantasy game exclusive to PlayStation 5 and will probably announce it at E3 2021 next month. Navtra has previously announced a large portion of the announcements at its PlayStation 5 presentation in June 2020, and also leakedPlans for Square Enix to release a PlayStation-exclusive Marvel’s Avengers DLC. Square Enix prepares to announce a new Final Fantasy game for PS5
In August 2020, before the announcement of Final Fantasy 16, Navtra announced that the game would be exclusive for PS5 for a certain period of time. The following month, the teaser trailer for the game referred to a PC version but was removed. To clarify the situation, when asked questions to Square Enix, they said, “We do not know further as to whether FF16 will be released on platforms other than PS5.”
The company recently confirmed that it is participating in the all-digital E3 2021 event in June, and on Friday Navtra revealed that the company will launch a new game for the PS5 in its long-running RPG series.
“I believe we can expect at least one more major FF announcement in addition to updates on what is currently being announced” he wrote. “Overall, square enix should have a good E3 season.”
Navtra said it was not certain what he said, but “I don’t know the exact E3 program, but I guess based on my knowledge of which games are being developed, how far ahead they are, and their target release dates.”

The latest Final Fantasy game, FF7 Remake, is currently only available on PlayStation consoles. The upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will also remain exclusive to ps5 for at least six months.
Another Square Enix game, Forspoken(also known as Project Athia),will also remain exclusive for PlayStation 5 for a certain period of time. The game will be released for PS5 and PC in 2022 and will reportedly remain exclusive to a dedicated PlayStation console for two years.
