Each new generation of Pokemon gets off to an exciting start in terms of seeing brand new Pokemon and catching the eye-catchers. In recent years, though, we’ve seen quirks like cake Pokemon, garbage Pokemon (I’m talking about Trubbish and Garbodor, which are really garbage bags) or ice cream Pokemon if we go back a little earlier. This time, however, a fan and his loyal friend, artificial intelligence, came up with a very interesting idea.
He designed enough Pokemon to fill almost a generation of goodies named Max Woolf, or rather, he had them designed by coding an artificial intelligence. When you think about it, there’s a lot of work going on that’s been pretty close to the Pokemon types that have come out in a generation. Looking at it in detail, I couldn’t help but wonder, “Is there a very advanced AI within the Pokemon Company that designs all the Pokemon?!” But looking at all the designs, I didn’t see that artificial intelligence created any ice cream or cake, so my hope for humanity was renewed.
It’s also fun to speculate on what these Pokemon might look like. Considering that there are many fan-made Pokemon games around the world, a new game can even be made with characters designed by this artificial intelligence. You can see below the Pokemon that Max’s amazing bot has made so far. If you’re wondering if the boat gets bored and designs new Pokemon, you can look here.
