A survey conducted by Famitsu for FromSoftware’s newest soulslike game, Elden Ring, yielded interesting results about Elden Ring. In the survey of 1700 Elden Ring players, the largest audience was 333 people between the ages of 25-29. The sample selected for the survey is also very good, so it is possible to hit it generally with a small margin of error.
It should be noted that the vast majority of the respondents (1509) were men.
According to this, the average playing time of the players was between 100 and 150 hours. There are only 7 people who play the game under ten hours, and 112 people who play over 300 hours. My own playing time was about 200 hours.
The most popular (and most used) spirit ash among the actors is, of course, Mimic Tear. Mimic Tear is a truly unique Ash, but I used Black Knife Yiche a lot at the end of the game.
The game’s most memorable, favorite bosses are Starscourge Radahn and Malenia, while Margit takes the third place. The most memorable area is, of course, Caelid, who scares players at first glance, followed by Limgrave and Leyndell. The least popular region is Mountaintops of the Giants.
The three most popular NPCs were Ranni, Iron Fist Alexander and Blaidd, respectively. Diallos and Enia are the least memorable.
While the most used type of weapon is katana, we see that the most played class is Vagabond. The most commonly used Ash of War is the Bloodhound Step, the most popular magic is Comet Azur, and the most popular talisman is Erdtree;s Favor.
