Publisher Devolver Digital and developer All Could Futures have announced The Plucky Squire, an action-adventure platformer for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC (Steam). The game will debut in 2023.
Plucky Squire tells the magical adventures of storybook characters Jot and his friends as they explore a 3D world outside the pages of their own book.
When the spiteful Humgum realizes that the storybook is doomed to lose forever its battle against the evil character and the forces of good, the hero kicks Jot out of the pages of the book and changes the story forever.
Jot will face challenges he’s never seen before to save his friends from the dark forces of Humgrump and bring the story to a happy ending.
