In recent months, it has become a gaming company that has been hit by scandals Activision-Blizzard. While the waters remained unscathed on the Blizzard front, which has been rocked by accusations of harassment, activision, now a major part of the partnership, has been hit by a “forced dismissal” scandal.
In fact, the problem comes from activision’s Raven Software front. Raven Software, the producer of the Call of Duty series, drew the arrows with its decision to downsize in the quality department (QA). Employees announced in a joint statement that they had launched a strike. A new message has been released from the strike, which is now in its third week as of January 3rd.
The bulk message said 12 QA employees who were laid off without any news from senior management should be rehired. Employees demand that these 12 people be rehired and that all workers in the QA department be offered full-time contracts.
Activision has yet to comment on the matter, but a statement in December said a total of 20 people would be laid off.
