Activision last night announced its first quarter 2021 results. Activision’s revenue expectations for the quarter were $2.02 billion, but that was on top of that, at $2.28 billion.
In addition to these figures, Activision also announced its future strategy and said it would continue to grow and planned to add 2,000 new developers over the next two years. Activision is doing this to triple the size of teams in some series by the end of next year compared to 2019. Of course, call of duty will have the lion’s share here.
Recently, Activision shifted Toys for Bob; to Call of Duty: Warzone, which had successful work such as Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, and received negative reactions from players. Of course, much of the $2 billion in revenue you see above comes from Call of Duty, even though the series’ revenue is up 72% from last year. Activision, as it stands, ;p asara, money, money; Says.
So I don’t think anyone would be surprised if these 2,000 people said they’d support Call of Duty in 1900.
