Director Adam Wingard, who managed to pass the class both at the box office and critically during this critical period with the film Godzilla vs. Kong, announced in recent months that he had started a brand new project. Expectations are high in this new film from Adam Wingard, who will be adapting one of the iconic ’80scartoons, ThunderCats(pictured) live on screen. It looks like Wingard will not only adapt ThunderCats, but also sign his own signature to the brand. Screenwriter Simon Barett claims the resulting work will surprise fans.
“I can tell you that our ThunderCats adaptation is going to be really cool. But I don’t think people know how long Adam Wingard has been thinking about ThunuderCats. The fans aren’t ready for Adam’s ThunderCats movie, it’s going to tear it apart.” Screenwriter Barett raised expectations when there wasn’t much going on. Thundercats, which tells the adventures of a series of catish/humanoid aliens in the original cartoon series, later appeared as a comic book. My biggest concern about this film is still the same. Please don’t make a new Cats movie, none of us are ready for it.
