Thanks to the GeForce Now database leak, we learned the names of a large number of games that were expected to appear on the PC, but there was no way to confirm this list at the time. Afterwards, many games, especially the PC version of God of War, were announced individually, and with each announcement, the possibility of other games on the list becoming real increased.
The list included The Square Enix; kingdom hearts 4 and final fantasy 9 remake. Considering that Square Enix has applied for a trademark for the name “Tactics Ogre Reborn” in Japan, Final Fantasy Tactics is also on its way.
The GeForce Now list also included games such as the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Remake and the Chrono Cross remaster. All of this came out. Kingdom Hearts 4 has also been freshly announced, leaving Final Fantasy 9 Remake as the only Square Enix game waiting to be announced on the list.
Final Fantasy 9 was released for PlayStation in 2000 and directed by Hiroyuki Ito. In 2010, ps3 was re-released as PS1 Classic for PSP and later Vita, and in 2016 it debuted for PC and PS4 with minor graphics refreshes.
The game on the list is a FF7 Remake-like remake project. Considering that Square Enix is currently planning many games at the same time, it’s hard to predict when Final Fantasy 9 Remake will be announced, but now we can look at that game with certainty.
