Agony Unrated, the uncensored version of Agony; 2018, was given free of charge by Madmind Studio to all players who purchased Agony; However, there was an interesting development recently and the game completely disappeared from steam libraries. I mean, it was like a game like this never existed.
The production team said they had contacted Valve to resolve the issue, and the problem stemmed from Madmind’s attempts to separate the Agony and Agony Unrated packages. Madmind, who no longer asked for the Unrated version to be given to players who received Agony, edited the package, but in the meantime, unrated was deleted.
The team hasn’t solved the problem yet, but instead they’ve developed an alternative:
“As you can see, we’ve created different packages for each region, going to the minimum pricing we’re allowed for that region. We would like to point out that this is a temporary solution, but it was the only solution we could do using the tools we had. We contacted Steam and GOG to request a large number of free game codes (for those who don’t know, developers can’t create a large number of code without giving the platform owner a valid reason).
If Steam and GOG give us these codes, we will set up a system where Agony owners can get code to bring back their lost games”
If you don’t want to wait for the second solution, you can buy Agony Unrated at a discount until March 7. This price for Turkey is 3.75 TL.
It’s actually a very cheap figure, but it’s also annoying that you still need to make an additional purchase to add a game you already had back to the library. From what I’ve seen, you don’t have to have Agony to take advantage of this campaign, so you can also own Agony Unrated cheaply under the pretext.
