All planned Cyberpunk 2077 updates have been delayed until next year, including free DLC content scheduled for release at the end of 2021. CD Projekt has updated its previously released Cyberpunk 2077 content map, confirming that no more content will come to the game this year. Recently, the next generation versions of Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 were postponed.
Cyberpunk 2077 updates are due next year
The CDPR did not explain the reason for the mass postponement, but said they were postponing it until next 2022 after it became clear that the next generation version of the game would not be in time for this year. The latest Cyberpunk update was added to the game last month (September) and added the wet asphalt effect to the game (after the rain). The relatively large-scale update, which was added to the game in August, was limited to adding cosmetic-oriented content to the game and received a response from players.
The aforementioned fixes/enhancements and free DLC are likely to fall second to the game’s playstation 5 and Xbox Series S/X versions. Cyberpunk 2077 was removed from the PS Store after the disaster in its release and then added back in June this year. Despite the warning added to the PS Store version of the game, “Players continue to experience performance issues in this game,” it had reached significant sales figures.
