In a new Indie World Showcase presentation, Nintendo and its publishing and development partners from around the world revealed details of 19 standalone games coming into the Nintendo Switch system family, including those coming in today.
Highlights of the video include a RPG introductory section of The Messenger from Sabotage Studios, which has enough wild magical powers to eclipse even the sun and moon, a first look at the poignant journey of Endling – Extinction is Forever from Herobeat Studios and Sea of Stars. Other games featured in today’s presentation include Figment 2: Creed Valley, a musical puzzle-adventure game with a first look at the Afterlove EP, a heartfelt rhythm game and narrative adventure, and a free demo to be released later today. There will also be four games available later today: Dungeon Munchies, Let’s Play! Oink Games, Chicory: A Colorful Tale and Timelie.
The featured games are:
Sea of Stars – Sabotage Studio: This prequel to The Messenger tells the story of the two Children of The Solstice – a Lunar Monk and a Sun Sword Dancer. Classic RPG fans with modernized elements will want to take a look at the moving storyline, fluid and engaging turn-based fight and freely passable world of this game.
