Tom Henderson, known for leaking information about Call of Duty and Battlefield games, came up with new allegations that fans might like this time. They say battlefield 6 maps will have a day and night cycle, and the weather can change dynamically. New details about the possible announcement trailer have even been shared.
Battlefield 6 maps may vary
According to Tom Henderson, a respected figure who has published several Battlefield 6 reports in recent months and has been endorsed by some in the press, DICE’s upcoming shooter game will be set 10-15 years from now and will only be called “BATTLEFIELD”.
In a YouTube video released earlier this week (you can watch below), Henderson claimedthat a map of the uninhabited island will appear in the upcoming Battlefield 6 teaser trailer .
“The beginning of the trailer begins with a beautiful, sunny and blue sky and ends in a dark, rainy mess,” he said. He says the battlefield will be mixed with a storm/hurricane. Players will reportedly be able to control Osprey military aircraft in the new game, and seven or eight of them will reportedly be displayed in the promotional trailer.
He says the trailer will show the day/night cycle and dynamic weather changes on Battlefield 6 maps, which are a big part of the game and focus on a wider multiplayer experience.
Dice defined Levolution, one of the most important features of Battlefield 4, as “The player will choose how to affect the world in the next step, and the world will affect him in the same way”. BF4 included some features, such as a collapsing skyscraper on a multiplayer map, and Henderson suggests that similar features for Battlefield 6 maps will be “a fundamental part of the game.”
It is also said that the game is designed to support more players than ever before, which means that the maps will be bigger than ever. Henderson had previously suggested the game had a new co-op story, but has since retracted his claim, claiming the information he received was misinterpreted.
Tom Henderson said in his latest video that he hasn’t heard from the game’s script or potential Xbox One, PlayStation 4 releases yet. DICE released an update on the BF6 development process on April 22, claimingthe game has the largest development team ever and telling fans to expect an announcement soon.’
