An anonymous hacker claims to have leaked almost all Twitch data, including source code and payment information to users. The 128GB torrent, shared on 4chan, was said to be aimed at “creating competition in the world of online video streaming” because Twitch;in its community was a “sickening toxic cesspool.”
The VGC also says an anonymous company source confirmed that the leaked data was authentic.
Leaked information includes:
- Twitch;’s entire source code
- Payment reports to creators starting in 2019
- Mobile, desktop and console Twitch software
- SDKs and AWS services used by Twitch
- An untapped Steam competitor with the codename Vapor (from Amazon Game Studios)
and many other data like this are included in this torrent.
Some of the torrent downloads have indicated that there are also encrypted user passwords inside, so it may also be a good thing to change your password just in case.
This file was only the first part of the leak, and there’s more to come.
Below you can also see the leaked publisher revenues (pre-tax):
I won’t give you a torrent link, but I can give you tips /g/ and /t/ for those who are interested.
