1980s movies, tv shows and, of course, cartoons are one of the biggest sources of entertainment today. Voltron is the new target of Amazon Prime Video, which incorporates all kinds of content to improve its library. Amazon studios have set out to bring Voltron to screens in a bloody way, The Hollywood Reporter reported. Rawson Marshall Thurber, also known as Red Notice, will take the director’s chair in this new film. Thurber will also be working with Ellen Shanman on writing the script.
Tobb Lieberman and David Hoberman will appear as producers with World Events Productions. Bob Kolpar will take part in the project on behalf of World Events Productions, which owns the rights to Voltron. Bringing Voltron to the screen or bringing him to the screen in a bloody way is a project that has been thought about for a very long time. In fact, in the early 2000s, Mark Gordon, who also produced Grey’s Anatomy, wanted to make the Voltron film, but the project did not come to life afterwards.
While it was Amazon that hit the jackpot for Voltron’s film, there was also a big bidding war before Prime’s success. In addition to Amazon, Warner Bros and Universal also offered significant sums of money for Voltron, but amazon was the winner. Let’s see if the Voltron film, which has been dreaming for so many years and has turned into a huge bidding war, can do all this its due. No official release date has yet been announced for the film.
