Shudder is a streaming service that broadcasts under the umbrella of AMC Networks, and its portfolio consists entirely of horror, tension and supernatural productions. It is one of the services that I wish turkey would come to, but even in Europe it is only available in the UK and Ireland.
Shudder may not be in our country, but his play seems to be coming before his tv shows and movies, because AMC and Shudder have announced their story-based strategy game, The Fabulous Fear Machine. The game’s abundantly colourful pulp graphics and drawing style are reminiscent of Shudder’s favorite series, Creepshow.
In the trailer for The Fabulous Fear Machine, which is being developed by the Fictiorama studio that developed Do Not Feed the Monkeys, we see a fortune teller machine (this is us) feeding the public with fear; We terrore the public with horror stories and urban legends, and in return we gain power, money and fame.
The game will be released in spring 2022.
