We know that American McGee has been dying to make the new Alice play for years. He even said that after Dead Space Remake was announced, he also raised hopes that the Alice series could be resurrected, and that EA hoped he would come to him with an offer for Alice’s new play.
McGee has now made an unfamiliar move and shared the presentation package for Alice: Asylum. In the 151-page file, it is possible to see the story, script and sample drawings of the game. I’ve read some of it, and I have to say, I think American McGee is extremely serious about this.
McGee also said that the story told after patreon posted the file on his page was Work In Progress, and that he was waiting for feedback from fans of the series. The next stage of crowd design is polishing these parts, says McGee. He also explained that this is not a collection of everything that will be included in the game, but the minimum amount required to understand the main story.
American McGee has been working on this scenario and concept since 2017. I hope she gets the opportunity to make her dreams come true, and we’ll be playing a whole new Alice game.
