Publisher Idea Factory International has announced that it will release a Switch version of Amnesia: Memories in the west this fall.
Amnesia: Memories debuted in Japan on August 18, 2011 for PSP, then for Android on November 4, 2013, and iOS the day after. It was later released for PS Vita on December 19 of the same year.
It was first released in the West on August 25, 2015, on both PS Vita and ON STEAM on PC. It then debuted on Android devices on August 31 and iOS on September 1 that same year. On September 12, 2019, a Switch version was released in Japan.
In Amnesia: Memories, you wake up a hero. But you don’t understand how that happened. In this confusion of reason, a mysterious spirit named Orion appears to help you regain your memories. It hides your situation from people close to you.
After experiencing a mental eclipse, you will try to understand what happened and explore your world. But all kinds of dangers await you. As Orion said, if anyone finds out about this, you could jeopardize your chances of saving your memories. It’s up to you now to rewrite your future story and save the past.
