Respawn Entertainment’s recently created job postings point to a new single-player FPS game. There are also messages that the game will be set in the same universe as Apex Legends. They are looking for developers to work on the game, which they describe as a single-player adventure.

A new FPS game is being developed in the Apex Legends universe
In the job advertisement “This new single-player game is the dream workspace of a developer who has the freedom to make every innovation made possible by the unique universe in which he lives,” they explained. It’s not yet known if the project is linked to the single-player project that Respawn confirmed they were working on last year.
The company reported earlier this year that it was building a first-person shooter built around the principles of “mobility and style.” However, this new game will not be a continuation of Titanfall. Although its principles are reminiscent of Titanfall, this project is based on a different universe.
In January, it was announced that Mohammad Alavi, the director of this as-yet-unannounced project, had left Respawn. He previously worked as a narrative director in Titanfall games and Apex Legends. He also designed one of his iconic Call of Duty missions, “All Ghillied Up,” while working on Infinity Ward.
EA, Respawn’s parent company, also reported that they are working on three different Star Wars projects this year. One of them will be the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor. The second project will be a new Star Wars FPS game directed by Peter Hirschmann, one of the developers of Medal of Honor, and the third will be a Star Wars strategy game made by Bit Reactor studio, which is made up of former employees of Firaxis Games, which develops XCOM, Civilization games.
