Pearl Abyss’s highly anticipated play Crimson Desert attracted a lot of attention with its visuals when it was announced in 2019. Then it was announced mid-year that the game had been postponed because Pearl Abyss said more time was needed to improve the game. There’s still no release date, but there’s an eye-catching tech video.
In this video, which lasts about 2 minutes, we see the weather changes in the game and the effects of these changes on the game world. Also shown are snow deformation effects, the swinging movements of the leaves as they move around in a leafy environment, and our character trying to move under strong winds.
This video, which was released a few days ago, is extremely impressive, although it is short.
Crimson Desert, an open-world action adventure game, will likely appear at The Game Awards on December 7. Who knows, then maybe the release date will be announced.
