Publisher Prime Matter and Shanghai-based developer Arrowiz have announced Mato Anomalies, an anime-style mystery role-playing game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam). The game will debut worldwide in 2023 at $39.99. In addition to English and Japanese voiceovers, it will have subtitle options in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese. The duration of the game is said to be over 40 hours.
Horace Xiong, CEO of Arrowiz, said in a press release: “We are excited to share with you the game that we have been working on for the past two years. Brought to life by our creative team and passionate designers, Mato Anomalies will present a deep story and the world to players. More than 50 employees, including external partners, participated in this project. ”
In Mato Anomalies, players go on an adventure in a neo-futuristic version of the Old Shanghai City. Investigate strange events in the city and uncover the secrets behind the walls. Join our enigmatic unlikely heroes in this RPG experience in anime style.
