Following take-two’s recent actions, another GTA mode was closed. But this time, the mode was turned off directly by the makers of the mode, not Take-Two. The GTA United modewas shut down earlier this week with an announcement by producers on the mode’s official site.
In an announcement called “Final Chapter“, the producers explained why they turned off the mode. In summary, although there has not yet been a warning from Take-Two to remove the mode, they stated that they decided to say goodbye to the players and those who loved the mode. The Gta United was a mode that had been active for 14 years.
Another GTA mode is turned off, what’s Take-Two doing?
The reported mode, The GTA United, initially emerged as two separate projects. In 2007, two modes were introduced that added the map of GTA: Liberty City to the game, with a mode that allowed the use of the Vice City map inside the GTA San Andreas. In 2012, these two modes merged into The GTA United.
Take-Two has been concentrating on making old GTA modes history for some time. The firm had previously forced the 16-year-old GTA: Liberty City to shut down a number of modes, including the mode.
