The popular GTA mode GTA Underground was removed from the digital world with an announcement video stating that the developer team would be deleted “due to their own material and spiritual health due to increased hostility towards gaming-mode communities.” For about 2 months, GTA modes have been detected and removed by Take Two.
While it is not known whether a “threat” from Take-Two played a role, the firm’s aggressive attitude towards GTA modes seems to have prompted a mod geaviist team to delete their own modes beforehand.
What games were combined in the popular GTA mode Underground
During its nearly 6-year development process, Underground aimed to collect maps of games such as Grand Theft Auto 3, GTA: Vice City, San Andreas, Manhunt and Bully in one mode. Currently, all underground’s download links have been deleted from the internet. Last week, Take Two filed a lawsuit against GTA 3 and GTA: Vice City Remake modes, also fan-made.
The developers of GTA Underground mode announced that they have decided to develop their own games following this incident and that interested people can follow the official YouTube account of GTA Underground and be informed of the developments.
