The deferred caravan has now been joined by Saints Row. Deep Silver, who will throw a “reboot” into the series with the new game, postponed the game’s release date, set for February 2022. The statement came from financial reports from Embracer Group, the big boss of Deep Silver; and Koch Media.
It’s fair to say that the new release date is pretty open-ended. The report said the game would debut “in the 22/23 financial year.” This means that the next generation of Saints Row will debut in a wide range of periods from March 2022 to April 2023. So the game could have been postponed for a few months or almost a year.
There is no specific reason behind this decision to postpone. However, the report focused a lot on the “quality of the product”. In particular, the fact that many of the games that appeared during the pandemic process were full of errors may have caused the developer to back down.
