Video game firm Aonic Group has announced that it has acquired the Exmox marketing platform for nearly $100 million.
Founded in 2015 and based in Germany, Exmox has created marketing campaigns and made advertisements for various gaming companies over the years.
With this acquisition, Aonic said he plans to strengthen his advertising portion.
Paul Schempp and Olliver Heins, co-founders of Aonic, said, “Exmox has a level of expert knowledge and a unique marketing platform that will significantly strengthen Aonic’s future growth in the field of advertising technology and beyond.”
Aonic acquired Exmox months after the company announced it would invest in a new gaming team. During the same announcement, mobile game developer TutoTOONs and mobile ad business AddApptr were said to have joined Aonic.
