The first details about the highly anticipated new season of Apex Legends have arrived. EA and Respawn shared gameplay footage from the season called Defiance and introduced not only the details of the new character, but also the new content. Our new character, Mad Maggie, seems to have made a splash already.
Mad Maggie’s controversial feature is its passive. One of the “wall-hack”-like features that Apex Legends players don’t like very much, “Warlord;s Ire”, will allow Mad Maggie to see her damaged enemies from behind walls. The same feature allows our new character to run faster with a shotgun.
Another talent of Maggie’s, Riot Drill, is the kind that declares war on the walls. This bomb-like equipment will be able to set fire to the back of the drop, burning Maggie’s opponents from behind the trench. Wrecking Ball is a ball that blows up when it gets close to opponents.
Apex Legends: Defiance will begin on February 8th!
