The new season of Apex Legends, Legacy, dropped like a bomb. If you recall, we shared with you yesterday that Respawn is having server problems due to the number of players who are above expectations. As these issues were addressed, apex legends’ number of simultaneous players increased.
The game, which was in the 277,000 simultaneous player band at the time of writing yesterday, is currently played by 195,000 people on Steam alone. In the last 24 hours, the figure has risen to 313,000. This is the highest number the game has captured since it arrived on Steam.
At the time, respawn has not commented on behalf of all platforms, but some players, including me, are still playing through Origin. Likewise, Apex Legends offers cross-platform support and the number of console players is high.
