These, considering the Romanian origins of the game (and Dimitrescu; is clearly romanian name), the correct pronunciation must be in the form of “Dimitresku”. After all, we are not so unfamiliar with romanian names. We know popescu;s, Petrescu;s, Georgescu;s. So one of us didn’t get up and say Popescu or Popiisk:)

The truth of the matter will come out when Resident Evil Village is released, but although it’s a Capcom-approved pronunciation, brombacher;’s pronunciation doesn’t sound right, to be honest. The following video also shows how the name should be pronounced:
