Ascent’s version of DLSS and ray-tracing support were only available on Steam. These features were not properly included in the Xbox Game Pass version of the game.
The game’s producer, Neon Giant, set out to transferboth of these features to the Game Pass version. Neon Giant has also responded to requests from users who have caught the obvious differences between steam and game pass version of the game.
Ascent’s version of DLSS may soon come to Game Pass
Although the Xbox Game Pass version of the game has the Ray-Tracing option, players say the feature has no effect on the game. The version of Ascent in question does not have DLLS support at all. Neo Giant issued a statement saying they were looking for a solution to the problem.
“We are in contact with both Game Pass and Steam and are working together to find a solution to the issue. By reviewing the topic, we will bring the Game Pass version of the game in the equivalent of Steam. ” has been announced.
Twitter user @MrChrisBee stated that the loading times in Ascent’s Game Pass version are twice the length of Steam. While Neon Giant thanked the user, he reiterated that it would be synchronized in both versions.
