In response to Axios‘ question, China’s famous giant Tencent confirmed that Ismail is the “consultant creative director” at Timi Studios Group within Tencent. Ismail is said to be working on a new game, but no information has been given about the game.
Some former Ubisoft Montreal employees, some of whom worked with Ismail in the Assassin;s Creed series, also worked in this studio.
Founded in 2008, Timi’s studio’s most famous game is Call of Duty Mobile, which has been downloaded more than 650 million times to date.
