Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, an open-world action adventure game developed and published by Ubisoft (Sofia), has been removed from sale on Steam and is not limited to that. A message on the Steam page states that players will no longer be able to access the game as of September.
The message on the Steam page reads, “Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD is no longer sold on Steam at the request of the publisher.” The message continues, “Please note that this game will no longer be available from September 1, 2022.”
Ubisoft recently announced that it would disable the servers of old games. In this direction, access to the multiplayer service of the games whose servers are closed will not be provided. In addition, additional content (DLC) of some games will not be accessible and account linking will be disabled.

Ubisoft seems to be going a little further, preventing Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD from being played completely. It is even reported that the owners of the game will not be able to access this game.
On the other hand, another rumor suggests that the standalone version of Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will not be accessible, but the version within Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will be accessible.
Assassin’s Creed Liberation was first released for PlayStation Vita in 2012, followed by an HD version for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2014.
