A new information has been shared for Origins, the Egyptian game of Ubisoft’s famous Assassin’s Creed series. This shared information shows that a new generation update will come to the game in the near future.
Last August, Ubisoft brought 60 FPS support to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which debuted in 2018, on next-generation consoles. On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, 60fps could be reached through backward compatibility.
Ubisoft also wants to bring 60fps support to Origins. In December, Ubisoft reported that they were considering adding 60fps support for Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Twitter user PlayStation Game Size recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Origins update 1.60 has been added to the PSN database. These patch notes included information that the PS5 achieved a high frame rate. Then on Monday, the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account suggested that the update could be released in the coming days.
The published Twitter post features Assassin’s Creed Origins hero Bayek and states: “Are you sleeping? I don’t sleep. I’m just waiting. The wait is almost over..”
Assassin’s Creed Origins, on the other hand, will join the Xbox Game Pass library in early June. Therefore, it is possible that the 60 fps update will coincide with the arrival of the game in Game Pass.
