Assassin’s Creed Rift will take us to Baghdad
As you know, in a news report yesterday, we shared the claim that the new Assassin’s Creed game will be about the Aztec Empire period . This claim, which was previously shared on Twitter by someone known for the Far Cry Primal leak, has now been answered by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier. Schreier says that the new privacy-focused AC game, which will come out under the code name Rift, will take place in Baghdad.
He described the next production as “Rift, the next Assassin’s Creed game set in Baghdad.” He said that the game that will be released later will be Assassin’s Creed Infinity and will promise different experiences in many different biomes. However, he noted that neither of the two projects he heard about took place during the Aztec Empire.
Although not officially announced, Ubisoft will release a smaller, sweeper, privacy-focused Assassin’s Creed game in 2023. In the production developed under the code name Rift, the character of Basim from AC Valhalla will come to the fore. It is said that the production, which was considered as an expansion for Valhalla, was later decided to come out as a separate game. Although there is no official announcement yet, you know that there is no smoke where there is no fire. Therefore, we can approach the possibility that Ubisoft’s new Assassin’s Creed game will not be set during the Aztec Empire period a little stronger.
