Assassin’s Creed Valhalla 1.2.1 update is out and focuses on creating solutions for many balancing edits and bugs in the game. The update size is about 16GB for Xbox Series X/S, compared to 12.8GB on Xbox One, 5-8GB on PlayStation 4 and about 5.5GB on PS5. On the PC platform, players who want to install the update will download about 14 GB of files.

With the new patch, a few new abilities are being added to the game and they are preparing the game for the Wrath of Druids expansion, which will be released on May 13. As you know, the release date of this expansion has already been postponed.
New abilities
- Cold Rage – Recharged in a matter of seconds, this ability prevents enemies from interrupting you while performing regular melee attacks in a row.
- Eye of the North – Lets you avoid hits when aiming with your bow.
- Intense Rage – Prevents you from experiencing hit interruptions while making special attacks or avoidances. It’ll be available again in a few seconds.
Game improvements
- An option has been added to the game menu to turn the cinematic camera on or off during finisher animations.
- Fixed an issue that prevented a duel with Dag from being triggered after sleeping in A Brewing Storm.
- The following missing fish species can be seen again in the game: “Halibut small, Sturgeon Small, Flat Fish Big, Mackerel Big” (We left this part in English as you will encounter English names in the game.) You can visit the relevant forum post to see where you can find the species.
- Bayek’s and Altair’s clothing looks were allowed to be applied to other armors when using Transmog.
- Fixed an issue that prevented him from making a sound while galling with the horse.
Balancing
- The Battlecry capability has been extended.
- The “Fearless Leaper” capability has been set to make it easier to jump from higher places.
- Fixed an issue with the “Spinning Death” and “Vordr Bite” perks, which caused the percentage of chance to be higher than intended.
