Ubisoft with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update 1.4.0; new content, festivals, capabilities and many in-game improvements. The update, which will be released tomorrow (November 9, 2021) for all platforms supported by the game, also has different download sizes for each platform.
What does Assassin’s Creed Valhalla 1.4.0 update offer?
New content
Update 1.4.0 brings with it four new ‘Tombs of the Fallen’ content. ‘Tombs of the Fallen’, which you can access after unlocking the settlement in the main story of the game, is a more puzzle-oriented discovery found throughout the UK. In addition, a total of two new achievements have been added, which can be achieved after completing one or three tombs.
Oskoreia Festival
Support for the Oskoreia Festival, which will be held in-game between November 11th and December 2nd, has also been added. Featuring new missions and activities, including horseback riding and spirit-fighting competitions, the festival also offers new eerie rewards. Players must reach the UK to access the festival and complete at least one of the first two story scenarios (Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire) and have at least a second-level settlement.
New abilities
- Perfect Parry: Fend off attack as soon as possible with LB/L1 or Q to inflict additional damage on the attacker.
- Master Counter Roll: Performs a ‘Counter Roll’, while performing a ‘Hidden Blade’ stroke.
- Improved Bow Stun Finisher: Now using the ‘Bow Stun Finisher’ ability will shoot arrows at all stunned enemies in view.
In-game improvements
Finally, assassin’s Creed Valhalla 1.4.0 update also offers many in-game improvements.
