ASUS Announces TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3050 Graphics Cards

 

 

ASUS has announced the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3050 OC and Standard Edition models. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3050 combines ray tracing and DLSS, making it a card in high demand. ASUS has also been offering a wide range of Strix, Dual and Phoenix models since January 2022. ASUS is now launching TUF Gaming, which incorporates all the necessary features without straining budgets.

 

Like other ASUS GeForce RTX 3050 models, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3050 uses ASUS’s own designed, proven Axis Technology fans. With smaller slots, these fans can have longer wings. The thin barrier ring provides targeted airflow without overlaying extra space. When under low load, the fans stop completely so that the card works quietly. When the GPU temperature reaches 55 degrees, the fans start to turn again. Thanks to the dual BIOS switch, users can choose between superior performance or low noise level without the need for additional software.

 

 

The card’s design takes up 2.8 slots and features a cooling block with a large surface area. This cooling block distributes heat better, ensuring increased clock speeds are maintained for longer and reduced noise levels. The processed aluminum front cover and metal backplate form a protective shield. The wide opening on the backplate allows you to throw hot air out of the case fans without redirecting it back to the card. The gray design with industrial design lines fits any system, while the RGB lighting on the front can be synced with other Aura Sync-compatible devices using ASUS Armoury Crate software.

 

The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3050 uses one 8-pin connection for power. The card has a wide range of connections to accommodate any type of screen. Two HDMI® 2.1 ports on the back of the card and three DisplayPort™ 1.4 ports allow you to connect to multiple displays at the same time. The stainless steel housing protects against rust in high humidity environments and ensures safe installation of the card. This slot has higher tensile strength than standard models.
